Agnes Shaw: At one end of Nanyuki was Younghusband’s garage and the large Indian general store of Osman Allu along with a few smaller dukas. There was only one place where credit was not given and that was Younghusband's garage. But he wisely insisted on cash and he could afford to for this was the only garage.
