Gazette - 5/7/1927 - Obituary - His Excellency the Acting Governor regrets to announce the death on the 18th June at the European Civil Hospital, Mombasa of Herbert Morgan Jones, Overseer in the Public Works Department. Mr Jones entered the service of the Colony on the 5th July 1914 and saw service with the military forces during the late war in the East African theatre. Mr Jones proved himself a most conscientious and capable officer and was esteemed by all with whom he came into contact.
