Email from Tom Lawrence: Gazette 27 May 1935 liable for jury duty, Kisii district - he had a claim at the Kakamega gold rush, which he abandoned in 1936 (Gazette 7 Apr 1936). Had a farm at Ol Kalou. There was a large main house, and large garden and a cheese factory. Next door was a farmer by the surname Case. 
Government Notice No. 139 under the ‘Trading with the Enemy Ordinance (1939)’ as Custodian of Enemy Property, The Governor orders that the farm in the Wanjohi Valley belonging to Anselmo Cesaroni and Andrianna Massaria Cesaroni is put up for public auction or sale by private treaty, complete with all encumbrances which may have been created there. This was given by J.F.G. Troughton for the Chief Secretary. The land was L.R. No 3777/116 (Originally 3777/62/1 of 9.9 acres north-east of Gilgil Township in the Naivasha District (Gazette, 11 Feb 1941, p. 105).
In 1949 Cesaroni applied for water rights on the Turasha River, which rises on Kipipiri
