Howard Smith: Technically a farm manager.  He came out to Kenya in 1928 after going broke farming in Manitoba, Canada and was hired by Allison Eugene Smith (his brother-in-law) to manage first, Canada Farm at Equator (Timboroa) and later Miniota Farm at Ainabkoi up until WW2.  I do know that Miniota was managed by Gertrude Moon during WW2.  Phillip lived the latter part of his life at Southernwood Farm, Ainabkoi, with Reginald and Alberta Jowitt.  This explains the entry from the EA Stud book.
