East Africa & Rhodesia - 30/5/57 - Mr J.A.R. King, who has been appointed chairman of the Kenya Meat Commission in the place of Mr G. de P. Colville [sic], who resigned last March, went to Kenya in 1929 as a representative of Messrs. Robey and Co. Ltd., later joining Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. He then became a director of Jardine Matheson and Co. (EA) Ltd. During the war he was at one time personal pilot to Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur Tedder.
