Foster - A CMS educationalist from Australia. In 1921 ahe arrived in Kenya. She spent most of her service in Nyanza. The Governor - Sir Philip Mitchell - asked specially that she visit him at Government House, Nairobi on her departure from Kenya, on retirement, on 8 December 1951, so that he might personally thank her, on behalf of the Government, for all that she had done for the Luo girls during her time in Kenya.
