To her party, at Stoke Court, she invited the parishioners of Stoke and Thurlbear and members of her guild for boys and girls. She went to Kenya with her son late in 1927. She was farming in Kenya in Nanyuki.

Friedrich registered in Hong Kong in 1906 to practise as a medical doctor, joining the firm of Drs Jordan and Adams. Friedrich’s family was back in England by 1911 (census). Friedrich changed his name in 1914 on the outbreak of war and served in the Hong Kong Volunteer Reserve. He died in Hong Kong 5 May 1929.
