East Africa & Rhodesia - 13/9/56 - Lieut-Colonel Henry Francis Thornhill Fisher, who has died in Cheltenham, served in the Uganda Expedition of 1899-1900. In 1919 he became general secretary of the League of Nations Union, of which he was finance and county organizer from 1921 to 1934. Later he was appointed finance organizer of the National Council of Social Service.
