Gazette - 15-11-1905 - It is with deep regret that His Majesty's Commissioner has received the sad news of the death of Dr R. Storey on the evening of the 19th October near Nimule by the attack of an elephant.
Dr Stoney had served for 6 years in the Uganda Administration and had made himself deservedly popular with both Europeans and Natives alike by his genial manner and the extreme care he bestowed on those entrusted to his charge.
