One of first pupils at Limuru. Lived with McDowells [?McDonells] before school built, at school with Mrs Hale. Trained as dairymaid at Kividiri with Mr E.M. Millington; stepfather Eric Radcliffe lived at Mau Summit. Managed several farms in area during war. Married Tony O'Brien 1948 - in Uganda, returned to Kenya then 1951 to Tanganyika, returned Kenya 1972 to manage Meru Muliko Lodge for 2 years then Lake Rudolf Angling Lodge. Left Kenya in 1976 after death of her husband.
