Africa and BEA ia as follows: Transvaal Civil Service (1902-04); Deputy Registrar of Documents, EAP, (1905); Registrar of Documents, EAP (1906); Acting Secretary to Wakf Commissioners (May to Nov. 1907). Captain Ward is a Half-company Commander, Volunteer Reserve, Mombasa Section. He took part in the SA War (1900-02), and has the Queen's medal (4 clasps), and King's medal (2 clasps). He served with the Imperial Yeomanry (Lieut. Feb. 1900 to Aug. 1901; Captain Aug. 1901 to Aug. 1902).
