General Information:

Ainsworth - In May 1898, when Mr Blackett of the Advance Railway Survey Camp at Kiboko Swamp, accused the Kikuyu of poisoning the drinking-water, Wise was laid up with gout.  
Kenya Diary - Nov. 1902 - Naivasha ...... I found a fellow called Wise in charge of Naivasha with Collyer as his assistant.

Uganda Journal - Vol. 2 No. 2 - Further Memories of Uganda by Sir Albert Cook - When I arrived in Uganda early in 1897 there was only one brick house - built by a CMS missionary, a Mr Wise, who came out in 1882. Twenty years later it was still in good condition and was taken over by Mr C.H. Werner.
