Afterwards founded new station at Uyui, Unyamwezi. 1882, Dec 4 to England. 1885, May 13 to E. Eq. Africa Mission aboard RMS Hawarden Castle with Hooper. 1886, April to England, and resigned with view to medical training at Edinburgh. 1876 at CM College. Died 1888 [this death cannot be correct]
Ujiji - Jan 1878 - with Mackay's party - a carpenter, was a lay member of the CMS. He was later especially active at the CMS station of Uyui ………… Copplestone resigned from the CMS in 1886 to seek medical training in Britain.
