He came from Kampala and appears in the Uganda Herald from 1934-36, playing in England vs the Rest rugby matches. He played for the Rest.

 

Could this be Dudley Badley b. 1 Feb 1904 East Stonehouse, Devon, d. 22 Mar 1972 New Zealand? He m. in Biggleswade 1936 Dorothy Lydia Yates (!906-1991) and had a dau. Jeanne Dorothy in Nairobi 23 May 1937. He was appointed to be tax officer, Inland Rev, Dept. for 1 July 1947 (Gazette 29 July 1947). He is 'civil servant' in passenger lists.
