Mrs E. Pollecoff - "Following the death of his mother in 1911 he was sent with his sister Ruth to their grandparents in Europe. Following the end of the War, Harry went to Bedales School in England and then returned to East Africa in 1924. He worked for the family company, The Old East African Co. Ltd. He married Ruth Johnston in 1942. He then ran that family's coffee farm. He was a keen golfer becoming Kenya's Captain of the Golf Team.
