General Information:

Initially an Asst. Surveyor, Uganda Protectorate, he later started his own business and became a very prosperous and influential business director in Uganda. For a number of years he was the Masonic District Grand Master of EA.
Mrs Boazman joined the Nursing Staff at Mengo Hospital as a VAD at the outbreak of WW1 and dealt with casualties from the EA campaign. Even after her marriage she continued her work with the hospital, and after the Armistice she took up Child Welfare work.

EA & Rhodesia - 17/4/58 - Mr Harry Boazman, MBE, who has died in Kampala at the age of 80, had lived for many years in Uganda, where he had practised as a surveyor, with a large connexion among Africans. He had been District Grand Master of English Freemasonry in East Africa for some years, and in that capacity had travelled widely throughout the territories.
