Moyse - Campaign against the Mad Mullah - commanded 75 rifles of 3 KAR at Battle of Jidbali 10/1/1904 - slightly wounded Kenya Diary - 1902 - Much to my grief, my company has not been selected for service in Somaliland. Capt. Breading and Lieut. Swire are going with the Sudanese company. They are lucky fellows, and I expect they will have some good fighting.

DSO - he was slightly wounded at Jidballi, and had the Medal with 2 clasps, and was created a Companion of the Distinguished Service Order (London Gazette 6/9/1904) - "Capt. George Remington Breading, The Worcestershire Regt. (employed with the KAR). In recognition of services during the operations in Somaliland" He served with the West African Frontier Force 1906-10, and saw war service in Somaliland 1908-10 (clasp), becoming temporary Major and Second-in-Command, KAR 29/9/1909. He retired from the Worcestershire Regt. as Captain; became Major 29/1/17 ……. is temporary Major, Somaliland Camel Corps.
