Commissioner ..... who was in charge of the Gosha District ........ a few police under a white officer, a garrison of the KAR under two officers - one at Gobwein on the Coast, and the other at Serenli, 300 miles up the Juba river - Capt. Salkeld had to administer an area of about 10,000 sq. miles. This area is about as big as the rest of Kenya Colony, ......... Kismayu - the main town and Administrative HQ of Jubaland.
