1939 England and Wales Register (living with wife in South Westmorland) says DOB was 24 Oct 1880, However marriage Certificate says 30 at date of marriage which means he was born in 1881. Belief is that 1881 is the correct year. 1901 census taken on 31 Mar 1901, says 19 yrs old.
