Gazette 11/6/1919 - Obituary -His Excellency the Governor regrets to announce the death from Enteric fever of Mr A. Baldwin, Assistant Catering Manager in the Uganda Railway on 1 June 1919. Mr Baldwin had been in the service of the Uganda Railway for 7 1/2 years previous to his death and had proved himself to be a capable and reliable officer. By his untimely death the Railway Administration has lost not only a tried and valued officer but a loyal and faithful servant.
