Eldoret - Tommy Hall provided popular entertainment by riding up the steps of the Pioneer Hotel and ordering four whiskies - two for himself and two for his horse. At the end of the evening horse and rider wove their way home and if Tommy slipped from the saddle the horse would wait patiently until he regained consciousness and remounted.
