General Information:

Captain of Shooting VIII for 5 years, he was awarded the Bisley Purse before he was 22. In between safaris he worked with Messrs. Newland & Tarlton Ltd. In 1920 he conducted hunting trips in the Congo. His widow, Paddy, was proprietress and Nursing Superintendent of the Alice Beaton Memorial Home and was well known for her kindly care. Irish - Paddy was a great supporter of the EA Irish Society in the 50s and 60s.
