Irish - When Paddy finally left the Army he joined the EAP&L Co. later becoming Chief Accountant to the company. He was a very keen golfer and was largely responsible for making the annual Irish Society golf competition a popular success. He was a stalwart member of the Royal Nairobi Golf Club and later on was elected as President of the Kenya Golf Union in 1952.
