Cuckoo - One of my best friends during this period was Philip Deacon, recently arrived in the country and posted to Kisumu as Asst. DC. He was a Cambridge University man. ......... Deacon and I were inseparable, ever ready to play practical jokes and obtain every ounce of fun out of life.
