General Information:

Tsavo - was a real character, one of the brand of old time Englishmen of the calibre that made Britain great. His experiences in the early days rivalled the most exciting of thrillers. He had been severely mauled by a leopard while hunting in Uganda, had been carried, semi-conscious and in dire agony, on an improvised stretcher by his faithful gunbearer and servants for several days before reaching the banks of the Nile. Here he was placed in a canoe, which promptly overturned in midstream, nearly drowning him in the process. Finally he was deposited on the opposite bank, more dead than alive, but managed somehow to drive himself to hospital in his car, which had been left at a trading post, and get himself to the car park before slumping unconscious over the controls .... months of recuperation ......... Owned a Bentley
