Carnelley - Naivasha - In later years, up the road to Maiella, lived Colonel and Mrs Murray. He made quite a bit of money, distilling the wild lemon grass for essential oil, sold to Grasse in the South of France, using the natural steam from the jets near Hobley's Volcano. He used to dash around all over the place in a smart blue Studebaker saloon where now only a Land Rover would dare to go.
Hut - oil of lemon grass
