Glimpses - D. Goldberg & Co. was so enterprising that in Drumkey's 'Year Book For East Africa' 1909 it is listed under 3 of the categories of "Professions and Trades". David Goldberg was definitely a rich man, and his brother Shloime very well off. The first Jewish wedding in Nairobi seems to have been in 1907, that of David Goldberg to a young woman who had come out that year.
