General Information:
Jenny Craig - Grandpa started the first ambulance service in Nairobi before the war using his own vehicle which he converted himself. He also set up the first First Aid Post in Ainsworth Road, Nairobi and was awarded the War Medal 1939-45 (among other awards) for his services to the British Red Cross (Kenya). He didn't go to the front as he had lost an eye in a mining accident in South Africa in 1920 after his return from the First War where he had served in Palestine. Worked for the Kenya Meat Commission for many years.
