mini-Sitrep XIV - letter from Nigel Walsh (KR 3836) .......... I attended the funeral of John Septimus Adams (the seventh child). He was 94, and prior to his death very active mentally but frail physically. He led the Kenya KAR contingent at the Queen's Coronation Parade in London. The last time I spoke to him he was a little vague but thought he was in the Kenya Regiment for a while at the beginning of the last war, and was then posted to 5 KAR with whom he served in Ethiopia, and later Burma. ..…
