General Information:
At Edgerton School of Agriculture in Njoro 1951-2 he spent a short spell on his father's farm and was then called up, having joined the Kenya Regiment in 1950. He returned to the farm in 1956 after being in in military intelligence, followed by being a District Officer in the Kikuyu Guard. In late 1964 became a warden of Uganda National Parks before leaving Africa in 1970.
