General Information:

Called 'Isa' by her family but 'Bella' by her friends. Went to London in the mid 1930s then to Nairobi in 1938 and worked there during and after World War 2 for some 30 years then returned to England. Travelled to Kenya on German ship "Adolf Woermann" and was in Suez canal during Munich crisis. "Adolf Woermann" was one of the first German ships sunk after the outbreak of war in 1939.
Ray Morrell: She went to Nairobi in 1939 to visit her sisters, was caught there by the war, and eventually stayed for nearly 30 years. After the war she was followed out to Kenya by all her children. All eventually left except for Charles Fraser who built a house at Kilifi.
