EAS 10 Sep 1833 He insisted the German consul who had driven up to the Avenue Hotel, remove a flag on his car depicting the German colours and a swastika, and picked up an inkpot to throw at the flag. He was disarmed of the pot by Schwentafsky, the proprietor, who called the police. A court case ensued. In the case Weinstock highlighted Hitler's persecution of the Jews.
