Oserian With his mother he made many visits to Spain and grew up a linguist, even speaking some Urdu, the language of many of the indentured labourers on British Guiana's sugar plantations. In Britain, after schooling at Repton College, he made in 1912 an early marriage. He was accepted on the reserve of cavalry officers and in 1915 was Gazette second lieutenant in the fashionable 11th Hussars. He saw service in France, then in the Middle East with Allenby, where he added Arabic to the number of languages he spoke. In 1918 he was awarded a Military Cross after he had captured two German aviators who landed their plane and were attempting to repair it in the desert. He retired from military service with the rank of major in 1920 and followed Allenby to Egypt where he had been appointed Governor General of the Joint Egyptian-British Sudan. Ramsey Hill was given a post with the Sudan Mounted Troops for two years and he met the former Edith Mildred Mary Agnes Moore who appeared to be a woman of means. In 1922 he took her to Kenya on a hunting expedition. Returned t Kenya in 1925, married. Bought land at Naivasha.

Oserian Became an actor, Had a part in The Ten Commandments, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, voiceover in 101 Dalmatians. He did not like critics. Then he went into real estate to work with a Studio City firm.
