General Information:

Dorothy - "William came to Kenya as a settler, year unknown, seemingly met Elizabeth there and married her in Feb. 1914. Their son Ronald Victor b. Nairobi, November 1914 and a sister Sylvia Clarie Tanfanie Mowlam b. August 1917 Nairobi. …… William and Elizabeth were divorced in 1918 - Elizabeth was in Kenya and William in Johannesburg, SA - William getting custody of the young Ronald and Elizabeth keeping custody of Sylvia. William remained in S. Africa - on the way home by ship from England (must have gone to see his parents) he met Lillian Fellows - they married and had a daughter, Pamela Aileen born 1920. It took Ronald until 1973 to find his sister - she was living in Australia when he died.
[There is some confusion - Ancestry family tree says Elizabeth was dau. of Joannes Mortimer b. 1864 and Georgina Taylor (1866-1910) and was b. 13 Feb 1892 in Perth, W. Australia. She m.  in Mombasa Silvio Gastone Pietro Tanfani (1886-1961) and had son Enzo Cecil (1919 Como, Italy-2010), and daus. Marion Nella Tanfani (1921 Nairobi) and Sylvia Claire Tanfani. Elizabeth d. 31 Mar 1967 in Perth, WA. It is possible that Sylvia Claire was actually the dau. of a liaison with Tanfani before the divorce of her mother from Mowlam.]
