Nat Probate Calendar says he died on 31 Dec.
He was pilot of the Vickers Victoria craft which was extensively damaged in a forced landing at Lamu on Nov 19.
On the day of his death his flying was said, by the 2nd pilot Allsopp, to be erratic and dangerous, and other pilots agreed. Fagan was v upset and went and shot himself inside a Vickers aircraft. A witness said he had known Fagan at Sandhurst - he was quick tempered and resented things said to him.
