Mills - Muthaiga Club - On hiring the new Club Secretary, Mr H. Towers in July 1915, the Committee requested that Towers compile a detailed list of outstanding members' accounts. Interestingly, the list contained many names that afterwards would become prominent members of the Muthaiga Country Club and its Committee.

Mills - 1917 - However, later in the year Towers resigned.

?There is a Harry Towers b. 23 Aug 1874, textile manager, in 1939 England and Wales Register, married in Guiseley 29 Mar 1902 to Eliza b. 23 Sep 1875. She was Eliza Sunderland d. 1961 Wharfedale, Yorks. They had 2 sons: Albert (1904-1950) and Joseph Eric (1909-1981)
