Richard Collingridge (grandson) He left Kenya in 1946 and remained in London after that. He trained as an eye specialist, working at the Moorfields hospital in London – he had seen many eye cases in Uganda. He was also the secretary of the Medical Missionary Association, and from the 1950s to the 1970s (with Isabel) he ran an MMA hostel in Bloomsbury, and then Islington, for student doctors and nurses who intended to become missionaries.
