General Information:

Gethin - DC at Baringo - shortly after Gethin visited Baringo Hughes was murdered by his Indian assistant surgeon. It seems that the doctor was due for and had requested leave. Hughes refused this request, which worried the doctor, who a few days later again applied. This time he went armed. Hughes again refused and the doctor shot him dead. I think he was found insane, but it was a horrible tragedy.
