Letter from Jack Wright 1 Feb 1994 His wife died about four years ago.He then sold his house in Nanyuki and went down to the coast to caretake a house at Malindi which belongs to Tim Llewellin and his wife Gillian who is Patrick's only daughter. A couple of weeks ago I met Patrick at a party thrown by the Colonel of the British battalion who are at present here on army exercises. I asked him about the terrific heat and humidity of the coast - does it affect your appetite and can you eat and he replied it does affect my appetite but not my drinking so why should I worry?
