His romance was hunting and the wilds, about which he knew much and wrote the visitors' guide. He was blessed at his home below mine with warm hearted Jean, little Colleen and Robin. There was a risk in the lute for a while involving his threat, reported to the Governor, to shoot me for curtailing an invidious domestic affair which upset our close community morale and endangered his own career.
