East African Aviation, vol 1, no 1, March 1931 When he died he was with a Torpedo Bombing Squadron. In June 1928 he was granted a commission as Pilot Officer and was promoted to the rank of Flying officer in autumn 1930. He left Kenya with his father in 1928 and stayed in England when his father returned to Africa.
