Web - Adolphus and Mary Ann's firstborn son was Harry Palairet Versturme-Bunbury, a man who may well be part of the "White Mischief" crew in Kenya. He was born in 1864 and educated at Charterhouse. He later served with the Royal Scots rising to the rank of Lieut.-Col. In 1922 he married Margaretta, daughter of Captain Pennefather of Knockinglass, Ireland, and widow of Major W.T. Holland. The couple lived at Belfield Park in Weymouth and later moved to Kenya. He worked with Lloyds Bank Ltd, 6 Pall Mall in London. Lt.-Col. H.P. V-B was a member of the Army & Navy Clubs and of the Royal Dorset Yacht Club. He died on 16th November 1943.
