General Information:

Binks - ....near the McGregor's house another similar house was being constructed in readiness for the impending arrival of the Rev. Harry Leakey, his wife, child and nurserymaid.  
Bewes - carried on the work at Kabete after Rev McGregor moved on to establish the mission station at Weithaga  
White African - Dec. 1901 - after the birth of two daughters, he sailed for Mombasa and travelled thence to Kabete, where he had been appointed to take over the work of the newly established station, and a few months later his wife joined him there, taking with her their two sisters and Miss Oakes to help in looking after them. .........…
CMS missionaries normally spent 4 years in the field before returning on leave, but in Leakey's case ill health prevented this and he returned to England in Feb. 1905. ....... Returned to Kabete in Dec. 1906

Tucker - at Koki in Aut 1896 .... 1897 Uganda Mutiny - in danger at Koki. ....... homeward bound in March 1898. ......... he was the first resident missionary at Koki in 1895 until Clayton arrived in 1897 .......... the old Mission station at Koki built by Leakey, after having been used by the soldiery as a fort, had been abandoned.
