Alister Lewis Parker (son): He was born in Canterbury, Kent, former Capt of 4th Btn 8th Punjab Rgt, Lt in 2nd Btn Buffs and Captain, Weapons Training Officer, Royal Military Police. He went out to Uganda in Sept 1956 as the Police Weapons Training Officer ASP at Nakuru Police College, Kampala and later became the Uganda Police Force Dog Master DS. He was a noted rifle shot winning a number of the East African competitions as well as being a finalist in the Queen’s Hundred at Bisley in 1959. He left Uganda in June 1965 to join the HM Diplomatic Corps, retiring as Aug 1990. His wife was Hazel June Waters (1926-2014).
