Pioneers - Londiani & Mau Summit - ….. In 1908 Mr A. McGregor started the Forest Department's nursery which has  populated many thousands of acres with young trees. After he retired he ran the Mount Blackett sawmill and later bought the Londiani Hotel. His great-granddaughters are still living in Kenya.
