General Information:

Brian Collis - The Crumpler family emigrated to Australia in Nov 1910 and I have photos of Leonard when he worked at the mine at Broken Hill, NSW. Len at some later date landed at Durban, SA and my knowledge of his movements from then on are very sketchy. I do remember seeing a photo of him with what looked like a road construction gang. My cousin Bernie Crumpler said he was killed by one of his workers. I have the photos that Len sent to Norman when in Kenya. These feature Nakuru Hotel, Nakuru Lake and Menengai crater. I also have a photo of Len, probably somewhere in Kenya, and a photo of the grave which clearly gives dob as 1 Aug 1902 and dod as 19 Jul 1934. My cousin gave me a copy of this grave photo and told me that it was somewhere in Kakamega. I firmly believe that he has never married.
Gazette 14 Aug 1934 probate
