Gazette - 15-2-1903 - We much regret to announce the death of Captain B.E. Spence of the SS 'Sir Wm Mackinnon' who died at the English Hospital, Mombasa on the 7th instant. Captain Spence was for many years in the service of the British India Steam Navigation Company Ltd previous to his appointment in the Uganda Protectorate
