John Grainger - "Hubert (Sehof) Stanton had a game trapping business at Rumuruti, he married Jane, and I would expect (Felix Mick Sehof) George Barrington worked for him and also Kurt Sehof who kept the surname Sehof until he died in Nairobi I think in the 1950s. They used to ship live animals by sea on deck to New York and Europe. Hubert as far as I can remember was H.R. Stanton. After they sold the game trapping business to the Carr Hartley family he started Bushwackers on the Athi River near Kibwezi, a basic camp on the river which was a series of self help bandas made of sisal and makuti. Hubert died at Bushwackers.
