Quote from Mrs C.M.G. Wilson - "Connie and Ted were walking near the river going to inspect some cows in a paddock, Connie carried her 2.2 to shoot pigeon or guinea fowl, she was also bitten on the knee but managed to hold her arms free from the coils. Her husband Ted was deaf so did not hear her calls for help - but she managed to lift her arms up and shot the python in the head - behind the neck - and it slowly released its coils. Connie was very lucky, she suffered a stiff knee for the rest of her days."
