East Africa & Rhodesia - 31/5/56 - Mr Thomas Causton Lockwood, who has died in Kenya at the age of 48, built and managed the wool mill at Nakuru. As a young man he had had extensive experience in the cotton and wool textile trades in the North of England, but had gone to Kenya in the early 'thirties to farm.
During the last war he served in the Royal Army Ordinance Corps in East Africa, being demobilized with the rank of major, and in 1947 he was appointed district commandant for Nakuru of the Auxiliary Police Force.
